SouthStruct Building is a design-build construction company based in La Lucia, working across Durban's North Coast — on the structural work that everything else in a building depends on.
We stay on the parts of the build that can't be corrected later.
Foundations, concrete frames and brickwork set the shape of a building before the finishes ever arrive. Get that stage wrong and no amount of paint or tiling fixes it. SouthStruct Building focuses squarely on that structural stage — reading architects' drawings, setting out the work correctly on site, and building it true.
Our sites run along the North Coast, from sloped coastal stands with sea views to more straightforward suburban plots — each with its own site conditions, access constraints and weather to plan around.

We keep our crews close to the projects they're building. The people setting out formwork, tying steel and laying brick are the same people accountable for how the finished structure performs — not a rotating subcontractor chain.
That means fewer handoffs, clearer answers when something on site needs a decision, and a build that's easier to track from foundation to final slab.
